Re: Problem with Hotpoint Super Plus 7822

❗ What a great site – I’ve never come across it before, seen it mentioned on a US site ❗

Thanks for the tips. I’ll have a go at getting into the ‘bits’ in the door in the next day or too, not got the energy right now to pull the machine out to get to the plug (the builders kindly-not! located the sockets underneath the fitted worktops/units) as I’m burning up at 39C and ready to flake out especially after all that extra washing up!

I’d rather have a go myself first as I twice had a REALLY bad experience of call-out guys in the past and it has left me a bit scared about such things. I know those guys were in the minority but still I’m scared.

Anyhow, I used to work in a lab and always took the instruments to bits and fixed them myself whenever possible – and same when I lived abroad for a couple of years when I called a nice UK service shop who talked me through how to take apart my then Hoover washing machine to change the drive belt (a challenge to stretch on!), carbon brushes, pumps etc!!!

Fingers crossed I can work out how to get in to the door panel then! I’ll keep you posted and hopefully manage to keep it from going on the junk heap 😉

    Thanks again!!!
