You got it in point one! The fill valve for the condenser is open circuit. I’ll order a replacement tomorrow.

Can I ask how difficult it is to get at the condenser container to give it a clean? I may as well do it while the machine is in bits.
Does the dryer fan, heater and condenser come off in one unit from the top or does it have to be split before removal?
