    Ah yes it does have these cr*ppy little wheels, will factor that into my thinking, thanks for taking the time to look into it for me, much appreciated! :mrgreen:

    Hi guys, thanks for the replies, good service! Some answers from me:

    – I have had it about 1.5-2 years, serial begins with 40.
    – Pulley is the only damage, electrics etc all fine.

    As iadom said, it looks like a horrendous job that I would probably get an engineer to do after reading your replies, but not if it is liable to cost as much as a replacement, and need further mods. What is the issue with the bearings?

    I don’t like scrapping stuff willy nilly, but it looks like a badly designed bit of kit IMO…I want one I can tinker with!
