ParticipantRe: Fridge freezer with seperate temperature controls
I guess it’s just a case of caveat emptor then!
Seems a bit frustrating that the manufacturers don’t cater for this, I can’t believe it’s that uncommon

ParticipantRe: Fridge freezer with seperate temperature controls
Thanks for the replies guys, would separate devices solve the problem? But I guess the climate class is still an issue?
Failing that, I guess I’ll just have to risk it 😕

Hi Don
Equally, Beko do a range of f/f that they claim are suitable for garages, or is that just marketing bull?

ParticipantRe: Local washing machine dealer
Thanks
I was able to find someone that got us an ISE pretty quick, and all seems fine (Tempting fate!)
Now, a fridge freezer….

ParticipantRe: American Fridge Freezer advice
That’s why I asked whether or not one could be picked up for that price range, rather than asking you to tell me your favourite decent model for that price?
If I knew what ‘decent’ meant, I probably wouldn’t be asking the question
The budget’s pretty non negotiable, so we’ll just get what we can afford
Thanks

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint BWD129 problem
Just to say, having taken the tray out & given it, and the slot a good clean, it seems to have unblocked whatever was blocked, and is working as it should (I assume)
Thanks for everyone taking the time to reply
Now, if I can just figure out why the “Superwash” light stays on permanently….. 😕

If it’s not there, it ain’t going to empty. Additive cover, p/no C00046154 is what you need – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you one promptly.
Penguin45.
Yep, have one of those, fits nicely over what I can only assume is the drainage hole/pipe
And still the tray fills with water every wash, surely a hole that was below water level, not above, would be sensible?

Hi Steve
Thanks for that, I was able to get it off and give it a decent clean – it’s easy when you know how 🙂
Seems a strange design that means the drainage hole is an inch above the bottom of the tray it sits in, meaning I’ve got to empty it manually every time I do a wash!

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint BWD129 problem
Thanks for the reply
I’ve done my best to manually drain the tray (Although it’s not easy as the tray’ll only swing out about 90 degrees, is there a way to take it off completely?), and clean it, but there doesn’t seem a way for the tray to get drained once it’s in the machine; the jets (The small pimples in the roof of the machine, yes?) look fine to my clearly untrained eye
