    I have a Belling double eighty which I acquired second hand (it was in the flat when I moved in, and the seller was a landlord who had acquired it with the flat) with no manual etc. It has what sounds like exactly the same problem, and I am interested to know whether you managed to fix the problem with the springs you got – if so, how long did it take?

    All I have to determine the model is the name on the top and a tag that gives a list number and serial number. Is this enough to work out what the part(s) needed to make the top oven/grill door spring up again? (If I could get a handle for the same door, that would be good too!) I have tried the “shop” cookers/springs in this website and it seems to suggest it doesn’t have any in stock. Could you tell me please where you managed to find the springs, and any model specification number you needed for this?
