Well, I took a gamble and bought a new control board – dishwasher works fine now.

It’s a pity that Bosch don’t supply schematics, but I suppose that they make more profit on PCBs than 50p’s worth of components! Looking at the board, I estimate that Bosch will land it from China for about £9. Selling for £130!
