Re: Indesit D63 controller fault!!

I tipped the unit onto its back and a pint of water came out onto the floor.
I don’t know if it was from inside or the base.
However the machine worked on cycle 6 after plugging in again.

I see from another posting for a different Indesit model there is a float and a microswitch in the base. How much water is needed to operate the float switch?.
Is there a common cause of leakage?

Thank you for putting me in the right direction. I was about to send it to the recycling center.
