I am unsure what you mean by lot less space if frost free?
At least we wouldn’t have to manually defrost.

Yes it works and our main fridge freezer is of course frost free and not had any problems with that at all.

But can’t be bothered for the headache to manually defrost every few months.

Thanks Don but I will say that have been very disappointed at this miele fridge freezer.
at one point the whole unit didn’t work at all until an engineer came to fix it.
