    Re: No heat on washer/dryer

Clarification :- The Pcb ( module control ) that I said looked wrong was in fact the correct one with an extra part on it that is no longer used. Pcb measures appx, 6cm square and fits onto the main control PCB – also called “module control”, I have also changed this one but still no dryer heat. I am thinking of changing the element even though it looks OK.

Yes I did the above but not with a Megger and it all looks OK. Yes I have fitted the new PCB. I am at a loss.

Cutout is OK, wiring is OK. What I would like to know is – could it be the heating element, it measures 34 ohms?

Fitted new Pcb ( module control ). Tried gentle heat program and got some blue smoke from somewhere. Still no voltage on dryer heater. Could it be the heating element even though it measures 34 ohms?

    Re: No heat on washer/dryer

Have received new Module Control unit, but it has what looks like a plastic motor on the back & has one plug socket missing. Bosch No. on mine is 5560 008 194. Any ideas?
