Re: Hotpoint wm64 water level low?

Not particularly soft, nor hard here in Bournemouth. Funnily enough, with the last load, I cut the end off the ariel plastic liquid tabs thing and poured 1 third of the liquid into the wash (knowing that there was also probably residue in our towels as well) and on the third rinse (the super rinse) I noticed a very small amount of suds, even with this low amount of added soap.

With all due respect Martin, we’ve been itching since October – do you not think we would have tried different powders? Also, it affects everyone using this washing machine.

Re: Hotpoint wm64 water level low?

Hi there, I am struggling with very low water levels in this machine and me and the mrs are constantly itching. (it is not rinsing very well)

The super rinse button does increase the water level to within a nick of the door bowl. We’ve just started using that.

I see the pressure switch seems to be ok and the pressure switch pipe is clear.

There is a small amount of noise whiring bearing noise from the drain pump, but I’ve never really listened out for it before so I don’t know if this is normal.

Also, how could it be the drain pump, if when it drains the drum, it seems to do so quickly and I can hear the water gushing down the sink plug hole?

    Any help is greatfully appreciated.
