So this is my PCB which means I can’t easily get to D7. I can’t even see it!

I’ve seen a new PCB on ebay for £40 but the seller negative reviews are putting me off.

Others are for £50 to £90. Any advice to a website or seller I can trust?

    Thanks,

    David

Thanks Dave, yes I had a long battle with the retailer and got a replacements for oven and hob at a discounted price. Maybe not the best deal but I was getting fed up of the lengthy conversations going on, trading standards slow and not very helpful and not being able to cook a hot meal (other than microwave meals). I learnt the lesson and got the new appliances on a 2 year warranty but then the Beko washing machine was 24 months warranty and it’s broken 32 months in… seems to me the manufacturers build them on purpose with components life expectancy just above the warranty period!

Yeah, disappointing… I’ve had to recently replaced an oven and an induction hob they packed up after 14 and 16 months respectively of purchase and now the washing machine… I’ve only lived in this property for 3 years.

I hope I can fix the washing machine if it’s the same issue. How would you rate this repair in difficulty from 0 to 10? I know how to desolder and solder and did some easy stuff in my younger age but I wouldn’t call myself an expert.

I can’t believe this is a so common problem and Beko is just saying “well done for finding a cheap fix”… Woke up this morning with the washing machine partially full of water and no powering. Only had it for 32 months.

Anyway, I ordered the suggested diode and hoping I can change it myself… not an expert but not completely useless either… wish me luck!

    Thanks,

    David
