Of course!! The plinth does sit closer to the wall than the cabinet depth.
In that case I seriously doubt I can get this to work.
Bang goes my clean run of units with hidden appliances.

SimonYeah, just checked the new machine and it’s got a depth of 600mm. The kitchen units are 600mm deep. Assuming the machine depth excludes pipes I think the size may be an issue.
I’ll measure the machine when it arrives.
Not looking good is it 🙁

That’s fine, but you say it as if it will be a bit of a mission to get it out.
I just plan to have an carcass surrounding the freestanding washing machine with a door on the front and a plinth at the bottom.
So, to remove I take the door off, unscrew or unclip the plinth and slide the machine out? No?
