    Thanks Andy, I spent a bit of time on this yesterday and checked and verified all that I could (micro switches, aqua-stop, heater element, etc without finding any fault.

    Decided then to look and the control module and found that the 3 pin (extreme right connector)was burned where it connects with the control module’s PCB and the corresponding control PCB connections were also burned. I hard wired the connections and the symptoms changed in that I now have a full set (4 Leds) instead of the previous 3.

    So kinda looking like the control module as the prime suspect, though I have still to trace the wires through the m/c to see what they feed.

    At £140 for a module and with no certainty of a compelte fix it may be time to cut my losses and by a new m/c as this one is 13 years old (it has been trouble free so I will be sorry to see it go)
