    Hi,
Thank you for getting back to me,and I understand that as you say
from where you are it is difficult to give an exact diagnosis, however
before I call out any engineer,I just wanted to know if there was any possibilty of the timer causing the problem,or indeed that a faulty timer
would make no difference at all.
    Thanks

    Hi,
With regard to my on going problem, and my last post of the 27th,
is there anybody who can offer me advice on what the problem is,
other than going out and having to purchase a new oven.
    Thanks

    Hi Mr KWatt,
With regard to my query,I now understand what you meant, and yes the oven
is cycling on the main oven thermostat, but goes off every time after approx. 20 minutes. Also with regard to the timer,a buzzing noise comes
on from the timer every time the oven is switched on,Could it be the timer thatis causing the problem,or might it be the main oven thermostat.
Hope you might be able to help.
    Thanks
    Brian

Re: Electrolux Oven Goes Off,also the fan stops when it reac

    Hi,
Further to my problem of a few weeks ago,I have now replaced both the
Cooling Fan Thermostat, and the the Oven Cooling Fan Motor,as advised, but
    the problem is still there.
Just to recap when we put the oven on,after about 20mins or it seems when
above 200C is reached the oven just goes off,and then cannot be used until a few hours after. Also a few hours after the clock goes off,and when reset will carry on working ok.When we put the oven on there is a noise coming from it,also when the oven goes off the panel at the top of the oven around the knobs is very hot.Could it be the clock that is the
problem, but with them costing so much,I just want to make certain it is
that before I replace it.I would welcome any help.
    Thanks

Re: Electrolux Oven Goes Off,also the fan stops when it reac

    Hi,
No it is not the power supply, just to clarify the oven
does not just come back on by itself, after it has seemed
to cool down, then we can get the oven going again by operating
the switches ourselves. Also when the oven does go off,I might
have mislead you, because the clock carry`s on working, but after
an hour or so it goes off and then shows the time as 12-00.When
the correct time is reset,it then carry`s on working ok until we
have the problem with the oven again. Also I have now noticed that
the outside of the oven is getting hot, maybe suggesting what other
people have said that the problem is the cooling fan?
    Thanks

    Hi,
Many thanks for taking the time to reply, and I will indeed try and
suss out the root of the problem, sorry to be a pain, but could I ask
you one more question,if the clock was faulty could that alone cause
the oven to stop working,or is that a seperate issue.
    Many thanks

    Hi,
No it is not this part,as before I posted the question on the
forum,I emailed in about this part, and was told that this part
was not on my model of oven.Has anybody got any other ideas of
what might be wrong with the oven.
    Thanks

Re: Electrolux Oven Goes Off,also the fan stops when it reac

    Hi,
Thank you for replying so promptly, but when you say that it
could be the cooling fan sensor,I cannot find any part of that
description on the whitegoods site, but do you mean that it could
be the Oven Cooling Fan Motor that I need, even though the fan does
    work for a time.
    Thanks
    Brian
