Thanks again, I’ve removed the lamp cover but can’t see anything that looks like it might be a sensor near it, what should I be looking for? sorry if that’s a dumb question! Cheers, Ben

Hi, Thanks for the quick reply.
So, is the ‘thermal cut out’ something that can be tested or should I just replace and see if it works again? Can these and/or the clock itself be purchased in the shop? I’ve had a quick look, but not managed to find either.
Cheers,
Ben

Cheers for the replys guys,
Right so it sounds like it may be one of the elements, how would i go about finding which element it is that need replacing?
If I switch the oven on to the conventional setting (no fan assist) it seems to get hot, but the temperature indicator light doesn’t switch off (which it used to when it had reached the selected temperature)
If I have it in the fan assisted setting the oven no longer seems to warm up at all now, does this help at all in narrowing down the problem to one of the elements?
Cheers
Ben
