Hello Kwatt!
I thought I would let you know what the problem was with the machine for future reference!
It was the concertino pipe which leaves the machine to the drain which was split at the connection to the machine! In turn water residue had been dripping onto the electrical connection inside the machine.
It also must have been doing it for some while due to the calc residue on the bottom tray hence for the last few years me having strange powercuts!
He repaired the pipe and now all is well!!!
A nice Spanish man called George came from Teka!!!!
Kindest regards,

Hello again!
Therefore the logic of what you say is that the pump may not be working an I have seen references to pumps and some sort of tray at the very bottom of the machine with access to them through the removal of a panel at plinth level so if the pump was not working properly or this tray thing full then that could be causing the machine to cut out? I think I´m going to have to get the Teka man out in that case! I am a lady in the not so young era and my quandry was really who to get to attend to it for me and I think you have answered me well and I thank you for your kind attention!!! I live in Tenerife by the way and things are not simple here!!!!

It may be that but I dont understand that the electricity went off in the early hours when the dishwasher was not being used! Since then I have tried it several times with the same result! I wonder if it could be something to do with water where it shouldnt be?
