Yep, it is the ‘Askoll’ pump… Ran the dishwasher, meter on supply to the pump, power came on to the pump, lo and behold, pump didn’t run, voila (or viola as they say around here)!!!
90 quid to replace a pump which in my humble opinion was obviously never fit for purpose is not happening. Certainly after researching the dishwasher brand and model, I figure there will be something else which will break down on it not long after this…
