    Thanks Penguin.

Thin we’re gonna go for the ADG 7560. Looks like it’ll fit OK and the price is pretty much what we were expecting really.

About £350 (just before Xmas… :bang: ) which unless anyone knows of a better deal 😉 …

Re: Whirlpool ADG 7540 not heating

    Well,

I done the “pour hot water” into the outlet in the bottom of the machine (I presume this is where I was meant to pour it), and gave it another bash.

It seemed to increase the temperature of the water from cold to mildly lukewarm for a cycle. Then back to cold again on the next cycle.

I think I’ll have to call out an engineer and have him have a proper look as I cant really afford to be getting it wrong. Also I have no knowledge of removing the washer, let alone the individual parts.

What would be an expected average charge to get an engineer out? And also, what sort of price area would I be looking at to have it fixed depending if its the module or the NTC. Oh, and as I’ve never had an engineer called out before, if it’s not fixed on the first attempt, do I have to pay further callout charges? Say he changes the NTC and it doesnt fix it, will i get the money of the NTC discounted if he has to then replace the module.

    Thanks for any advice

    Billy
