Thanks Martin – needed to tip it back a bit further but I’m all set.
Hopefully the part will arrive today and bish.bosh.bash I’ll be up and running sometime tomorrow.
Not looking forward to putting it back together but so far so good – even if it has taken me five days to get this far. Is this a record?

Thanks for the reply Martin.
Well, I’ve taken the top off and removed the front top panel (where the controls are).
However, to remove the big front panel I will need to tip the machine onto its side to access the screws (which are on the bottom of the machine).
This is different from all of the videos I’ve seen on espares/you tube etc. .
This doesn’t sound right to me but there’s no other way to get the panel off.
