££££££££ !!!! …. surely these guys know what they are doing when they design these things ! 👿
I thought hotpoint was a good name in washing machines.
on the plus side it has a 2 year warranty & is under 300 sov’sbodie

cheers mike….
no flashing lights that i know of … the drum wont turn on a wash cycle, it just sounds like it is trying, but will spin for a few mins when on a spin cycle, but then stops again with the now infamous whirring sound as though the drum is trying to rotate. 😕
still not made a full decision on the new washing machine because i like the look of the hotpoint AQXXL129 and i can get this with 2 years parts and labour cover – its just whether the machine will fit in our kitchen !..
had any reports on this machine anyone ??ta

hmmm….cheers jim…. i’m thinking go for a cheap one and if i get 3 or 4 years out of it then all is good,
rather than go for something on the expensive side.
im looking around £250-£300
and the candy go126 looks a nice design and is energy efficient.bodie

ParticipantRe: ariston awd12 spinning fault
i’ll certainly look into it – but i doubt it ’cause on the wash cycle it does fill up with water, but then won’t rotate.
can the dryer be switch on when selecting a wash programme causing it to conflict somehow ??

ParticipantRe: ariston awd12 spinning fault
Ive never used the dryer on it (or should i say the bread knife doesn’t 😆 )
why you thinking this could be switched on somehow ?bodie
ParticipantRe: ariston awd12 spinning fault
yeah, the water is getting drained away ok …. and checking the front filter was the first thing i did … none of the above then .. thanks anyway.
