ParticipantThanks Dave, checked the switch all looks fine. When I check the cooling fan stat with an amp metre on ohms setting, it registers no connectivity at all. Could this indicate the fan stat is blown, or are they designed only to connect and therefore spin the fan when a certain current is put through?

ParticipantHi swooped it back and still issue. When I leave the cooling fan stat un connected ie open circuit. The same issue occurs clock only works. Would this therefore suggest the cool fan stat is blown not the cutout stat? Or could I have damaged the cutout stat by plugging it in where the fan stat goes?

ParticipantThanks Dave. I have changed the thermostat safety thingy. Interestingly the fan in the roof of oven now stays on even when oven is off. Lights and main fan come on when you click the switch to first click, the light and drop symbol. But still no heating of elements and main fan goes off when you click beyond that.

ParticipantThanks Dave definitely Forno SH 33 W. Agreed it should not have caused any issue. I wonder if he had it on a very high heat ?
