Re: Whirlpool American Fridge Freezer broken down – help!

Hi

I’d appreciate any advise that you can give. I have a Whirlpool S25D RBB33 fridge freezer and the icemaker has stopped producing. When it is switched on I get a periodic clicking noise which lasts about 30 seconds or so from the bottom of the freezer.

Whirlpool customer care suggest that I need to replace both control board at a price over £450 – this seems rather excessive.
