ParticipantAh… thanks. Good idea – at least to have in back pocket. I think there will be enough room as connector is on top and there is room above.

The original connectors had a insulation sleeve as per the photo (I’ve turned the black connector upside down so I could see what connector is needed). You can see the melted sleeve on the blue. Do I need to replace the sleeve? Which is why I was thinking of using the fully insulated connector.
Note: 2 wires going into the connector – presumably the connector crimp can handle that.

Very helpful and especially for the advice on crimping.
I’m hoping there will be a bit of ‘give’ in the blue wires to allow me to cut and replace the crimp without replacing the wires completely.Can I fit a universal type crimp connector such as this one: https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/3051182-blue-faston-connector
Or do I need something particular? (Forgot to check at weekend when oven was dismantled and won’t be able to check before weekend)Anything else I need to be aware of?
