    all the stat does is turn on and off the compressor. if its on its done its job till its cold enough

    Interesting, so there would be no point in throwing more money at it ? It’s a poor show for a 5yr old fridge

    Would you still expect there to be a temperature change within the fridge even if the thermostats vary in length ?

    It’s a Bush M55TLW20. The fridge compressor appears to be working. I was thinking of checking the sensor but the only access to it seems to be via the back panel which seems to be stuck into place and difficult to remove. Cheers.
    The original thermostat was a WDF23A which discontinued, I got a WDF20.
