and another one…. I’ve got a S20B RSS31-A/G – the display constantly flickers & clicks and if you try to fix it by pressing standby you can’t get the bugger to unstandby itself unless you switch it off at the mains for 10 mins. It’s been doing it for about 3 years now.

Ice dispenser doesn’t work, but am not bothered about it. Temperature of both fridge & freezer are fine. It’s just the clicking that’s irritating.

So… is it the front or back board (or both) that would possibly need fixing?

I don’t think I’d be too handy with a soldering iron so was thinking of removing the board(s) and taking them to a tv repair shop. Would that be a cunning plan?
