Re: Ariston LS168 wont switch on
Hi there,
I have an Ariston LSI 68 (Duo Wash) it’s about 6 years old. Originally our wash programme failed to finish / drain completely (it left a very small amount of water behind), then after turning the power back on for our next wash the programme button would not respond (no beep or lights).
Similar to wpo750 I was able to run the test programmes explained in this post. Here’s what happened:
1. The DW ran the full long test successfully apart from leaving a small amount of water, and 4 regular flashing lights.
2. The residue water was then fully drained away immediately when we ran the test function again and this second test cycle immediately ended, leaving the DW again with 4 regular flashing lights (located on the right hand side of the 6 programme lights).
We ran all the tests again, and each time we have got same results with the 4 regular flashing lights.
All the functions of the DW appear to be working perfectly on their own, but we cannot get any response from the programme button. Might there be a code we can use to reset the programme mode?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
ps our DW low-salt light was also on when problem first started, but is since back off, salt having been applied. 😕
