I have cleaned the filter and now there are no lights flashing any more. Washing machine partially fills up and just stays on (it doesnt stop and the dial does not move at all), drum does rotate.
If I change setting for washing machine to drain, dial rotates to original setting and stays stuck.
Has anyone got any idea what this means and if it can be fixed??

If it is the main board, is it cheaper to get a new washing machine or is it worth repairing?
I just realised by checking the forum that my drying function never worked. The washing always gets hot but never dries. So I never use it!

Hi, I have the same problem!
My washing machine’s dial started turning (no idea where in the cycle it was! but washing was wet, powder was gone but conditioner was still in tray) and no when I try to reset it as you mentioned before, it does not want to do that.
I can turn the machine on, the red light goes on, I can hear the water running and I think it starts heating it up and then the light goes off and the dial starts turning and the lights flashes 7 times. 🙁

My machine: Ariston Margherita 2000 AWD 12S Advantage.
S/N: 403108851*80260970030.

Is there anything I can do or should I call out an engineer? :rolls:
