Re: Bosch Classixx Dishwasher not heating up

Ok have moved on a bit since last post. I have taken the left side panel off and checked that none of the waterways were blocked. but found what I think is the water level diaphragm switch orifice was blocked I stripped the diaphragm unit and unblocked it with a pin, it now works if I blow gently into the valve the micro switch operates. I ran the machine and it still didn’t heat up and Im not sure the thing is filling with enough water. I removed the water solenoid and tested it, All OK.
I checked out the power to the element and there is power to the micro switch on the end of the heater unit but not to the element. I have removed the micro switch and that operates ok. It looks like the plunger that operates that micro switch is not operating it. Does anyone know what that micro switch does? I have taken some photos of the diaphragm switch in pieces that I could post later for members info .

Hi My Bosch SGS43C02GB/35 will not heat up. The control board was replaces about 6 months ago under recall & I have looked at it and found no evidence (burning) of dry joints. I have also tested the element and it is approx. 25 ohms. also the larger (red Wires on the temperature sensor on top of the element show a short circuit but the smaller cables appear to be open circuit. There is what looks like a micro switch on the end of the element between the element connections and is in series with the element. This is open circuit. Is this some form of flow switch or has it failed? the machine is not currently connected to services so I cant test it under power. I will also take of the other side panel and check out the water level system at the weekend Any help would be most appreciated.
