Thanks for that. I tried the diagnostics, but no lights in the wash lamp row lit up.
We only have cold water in the laundry. I am not sure how to test it to rinse or spin, when it will only come on, light up, and nothing else. Is there a way I can do this?

Edited to add:

After being off all night the machine did go. However, as soon as the cycle was done, and it was on the last spin, it immediately returned to the start of the cycle and began to fill to wash. The lights on the wash cycle also went from a red spin light, and then straight back to all the lights being lit.
I advanced it through the lights back to the spin cycle, and it didn’t seem to me that it had any intention of stopping. It was still on spin long after any water was coming out the drain hose. I powered it off, and the last three lights on the left flashed, and kept flashing until I shut the power off at the wall.
