Should it be left to soak in the vinegar?

seems to be working just fine.
Can I turn just the freezer off to completely thaw it and re-start it, or is there something else can try

    Hi

yes that is the best option but it will need 24Hrs with the freezer door left open whilst defrosting it.

    the food is wasted though

    Re: Zanussi TD301 Bearings ??????

    Thank you.

I found my original invoice from Comet. It cost £49 and I stupidly took out the extended warranty, which was another £35 🙁

The warranty did come in handy as the fan broke up and I used the Zanussi service to have it fixed. I think it was my fault. If I remember correctly, a pen went through the system.

I have decided to buy Miele products in future. The top of the range tumble dryer is £1300. The parts to repair the TD301 are £35. No contest.

Unfortunately, UK whitegoods don’t have the parts. I am buying them from spares-and-repairs.co.uk

Thanks to a forum member, a Samsung engineer came out last week and replaced the evaporator cover FOC.

You need to spend the cash I’m afraid or it will just come back but, if you’re not sure on ANY of that then call in the pros and get it done right.

I am a bit peeved. This the most I have ever spent on a fridge freezer (3 times my last purchase) it was only 3 weeks out of warranty and it is a stock fault????

I know where you’re coming from, I repair mobile phones and computers, and so with the right help I should be able to fix this for the cost of components. I only bought this fridge freezer for the ice and chilled water; my last fridge freezer gave me good service for 18 years.

Re: The dreaded Samsung RS21 Noisey Fan Problem

After 8 weeks the fan has started grating on the ice again.

I think it’s time to spend some money and attempt to permanently fix the problem. Apart from the noisy fan, there doesn’t seem to be any other problems. I have a separate fridge thermometer that reads the same as the front display.

Apart from the evaporator cover, should I replace anything else?
