I don’t think the motor started. Some water went into the machine before it ‘tripped’, but I don’t think it got to any actual moving around of the water. Is it worth getting it out and drying out the base as suggested in some other posts? Could the blocked up drain pipe have caused damage to the pump? It’s almost two years old – do you think it’s worth repairing one of these seemingly bad dishwashers? I think it’s around the £100 mark for a new pump isn’t it? Thanks again.
