Hi Michael & Steve,

I also am having identical problems with my Samsung SR-S2028CVW which is about three years old (the freezer is empty at the moment and so I am not worrying about food spoilage). It seems as though there is some component failure which is consistent amongst a lot of these units after about 3 years. If anyone finds a solution then I would be grateful if they could let everyone know.
One other point I could add is that when the freezer is going into defrost (seems to happen at least every day) I notice that the fridge, although still cold, does suffer from condensation on the glass trays. This disappears when the freezer is freezing properly.
Any tried & tested solutions?
