ParticipantThanks….listened closer and no obvious bearing noises or unbalance in drum when spinning. The pump does sound as if it may have dry bearings as it sounds a bit “course” for want of a better description.
It does go thro the full wash programme before showing the E14 code after it has thoroughly spun the wash – the E15 code has gone.

It can be noisy at spin and the pump is a bit noisy but not excessive. I got the machine second hand from a friend a few months ago so unable to say it has become noisy. Any particular noise you are asking about? Unfortunately I generally switch it on and walk out leaving it to do its own thing
I “force fed” it with water….i.e. filled it through the front loading door with some water…….put a couple of towels inside and it ran thro a full wash without a problem. I have now done two half loads and it has gone through virtually its whole cycle (cant say exactly when it stopped but clothes appeared clean and at usual level of dampness – I didnt sit and watch but heard it beeping as it developed its fault however timewise it was about right for full wash cysle) and it no longer shows error code E15 but now shows E14 Call for a service engineer. switch off and back off and it works fine so it doesnt retain the code.
