Thanks for the information. Regarding refridgerant as a possible cause, wouldn’t loss of it cause an inability to reach a sufficiently low temperature? I’m asking, because from the chart you can see that the freeze is able to reach -20 C, but it just can’t hold temperature.

Like I said, not an expert, just a computer engineer trying to reason what is at fault here and what is not.

Well, I do understand this is a toughie, however looking at the temp charts perhaps someone could remove certain components as possible culprits. This would help me narrow it down.

So, calling out to fridge experts here once more 🙂

Some added info: looking inside the freezer which is still empty and at -18 for testing purposes, I can see that the back side of the compartment does have some ice. Not much, but there is definitely. Not sure if this is normal or not…
