Are there any of the 1400 spin machines still available? To be honest, I would be happy with 1200 and would prefer the machine to have a wider range of spin speeds. Higher speeds just mean more energy consumption for not a vast amount of gain.

Thank you both for your comments, its much appreciated. Interesting article on sound, it didn’t occur to me that the setting would have an influence.

Do the Maytags use different components and design or is it that they are programmed differently?
I assume that UKWG will sell parts but will they also be available from local outlets? My local supplier is very good and the ability get parts quickly is a real bonus.
Removing the drop down door is going to be more involved than just taking out a couple of screws? Does that mean I will have to order a specially modified machine and will it cost more than the standard?
Is the ISE 10 as quiet as a Meile?
I am sorry, more questions than a five year old on a long car journey.:)
