ParticipantRe: WF321 Impeller not spinning
Quick update on this, fitted new pump but still no life from it watching the impeller on spin cycle. As iadom had warned me the boards often go at same time and told me where to get a refurbished one, got one ordered from EWM. Came promptly, plugged it in and bingo!! Machine fixed for about £70 and a nice sense of achievement.
Couldn’t have done it without the help though, thanks very much!!

In that case iadom you are a true gent. Thanks so much for your help, I thought the spares side must pay for this, very good of you.

Thanks again iadom.
OK so I want to buy the parts on here as clearly you guys don’t offer this support for the good of your health.
The pump seems to be this one……
https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/c001453 … drain-pump
But it says suitable for wf321p…….my machine just says wf321, is this relevant?
For £20 or so I’m going to take the chance and just order one, if it turns out the boards gone too roughly what do EWM charge for a repair? A new board looks to be £100+ and it’s not worth spending that, will just replace the machine as it’s getting on a bit, don’t want to end up with a “triggers broom” scenario as all the parts fail. 😆 😆Cheers

Forgot a bit, didn’t tip it while full, but if the pressure switch does need resetting is that something I can do?

Thanks iadom.
Pump tests as open circuit and there is black residue (almost like burnt sugar) on one of the windings. Clearly pump needs replacing, is there any way to check the board? Don’t want to buy a pump only to find I need a board too, by that point it’s getting uneconomical and may as well buy a new machine.
Is the main pcb the one down the back at the bottom? I actually had that out last year to replace a capacitor which is apparently quite common on these. Given that I’ve done that once, is there a component on the board that I’d need to replace or is it a case of a whole new board?
Thanks for all the help chaps (or chapesses)

Great, thanks K. Hadn’t removed the pump yet and had a feeling there’d be a load of terminals. Continuity test across 2 terminals seems simple enough even for me, I’ll whip it out in the morning and take a look. Thanks again
