Noooooooooooooo I thought that may be the answer! Typically, my washer dryer, my side by side fridge AND my dishwasher have all packed up in the same fortnight!!! It comes in 3’s!

Hope it’s ok to piggy back on this thread but I too have an issue with my Ariston Margherita ADW12.
The machine seems to be stuck on a cycle. It happened when I set it to wash. The dial keeps spinning/clicking round and won’t stop until I turn the machine off. In the past, this has been because of the filter but we’ve checked that and its all clear. Something different happens that I haven’t seen before: the machine seems to be ‘running’ and ticking over like it’s trying to do something. This happens even when I switch the machine on after leaving it off for hours – whether it’s set to a cycle or when it’s on the ‘dot’ so I’m not asking it to do anything… the LED flashes 10 times.
Does anyone know what this means and how I go about fixing it please? If it’s not do-able by me and I need a professional, how much would I be looking at roughly (i.e. time for a new one?)
