    Re: Fisher & Paykel MW059AU – 00110010 error code

I had a power surge just recently that has blown parts on the main board. When I first inspected it, the fuse F102 and F124 was blown. After replacing them with the only fuses I could find (fast and slow blow glass fuse) and turning the power on, the fuse F102 blew.

Just recently I had a look at the resistor 101 and noticed a sizable chunk had been blown off it and is now short circuiting.

Can anyone tell me what the resistor value is as it doesn’t say on the board or anywhere I have checked on the net, and also if it is alright to use fast/slow blow fuses on the board.

Re: F&P Error 50 after new Hot Valve

I have the same problem but with a different model.

Model: mw059au Fisher and Paykel Smart Drive 5.5
    Error code: 50 // 00110010

I have tested the resistance on the valves 63.5 (cold) and 63.7 (hot). The power supplied to the cold valve when running seems to jump around from 0V to 7ishV, whilst the cold seems to sit at 7V to 8V.

I assume a faulty board, but was hoping for more information on the error and what components tend to fail. I would rather a $0.20 component to a $165 board that may or may not work.

    Thanks.
