OK. Understood. The back plate has the words “Multi air flow” on it
The water you are finding may be condensation forming . Check the fridge door seal .
The seal is clean, intact and meets the fridge all the way around.
Also , have you been getting any ice build up in your veg containers or at the base of the rear cover ?
No ice, but I have found condensation right at the base of the air circulation unit at the back. This is probably the source of the wate ron the floor of the fridge compartment.
I put double thickness kitchen roll in the base of each veg container and this is wet after a few days. There is no condensation on the glass shelf on top of the veg containers as has happened with other fridges in the past.Milk and butter has been going off quickly recently – I should buy a fridge thermometer to check what’s happening to the temperature.
There may be cold air escaping from the bottom edge of the cover which could be causing problems .
Sorry, I don’t understand what you mean by “bottom edge of the cover” – could you explain? Escaping to where?
Although the rear cover has many vents in it , only the very top vent should actually have cold air coming out of it. The rest are covered by a polystyrene block .
Should I attempt to take off the cover and have a look?
Thanks
