Dave, it might be a good reputation still lasted less than Samsung before it started playing up.
Not impressed either.
Just checked why have I not extended the guarantee on it, and I didn’t do it because Miele prices are ridiculous £180 for an extra year or £350 for another 3 nearly price or a new appliance (other than Miele).
I had hoped that for the amount of money Miele after sale care would be little better too.
Does anyone think if it is a good idea to defrost it.

Hi takkischitt, did you manage to find out why is that alarm going off and sort it out?
My fridge is about 2,5 years old and 6months I’d guarantee of course. I had this problem happening only once before. Ingineer came out and sort of left a cable tie in the little hole at the back and asked to give it a little push every so often. Well now that is out of guarantee the alarm started to go off more often.
