    Re: DIPLOMAT ADP 1520

    Hi,

Many thanks to karv you were correct with your diagnosis it was the terminal block, it was burnt to a crisp, very noticable as soon as the cover was removed, also a tiny circuit board was attached and that to has suffered a blown resistor…..

my next question is fairly obvious, is it possibe to get another terminal block and tiny board .?? i have taken a photo of the items for future referance if needed.

many thanks again, look forward to a reply from anyone please.

    king regards,
    Frank.

    Re: DIPLOMAT ADP 1520

Thanks for the reply, most helpfull,

I will be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} safe and not presume the main cooker isolator probably turn off at the consumer fuse box just to really sure.

your reply has encoureged me to have a go, i thought it may have been something like the touch sensative on/off buttons that may have gone, but i will check for t/block and possibly PCB Board as you suggested. come to think of it something did make a fizz noise just before it went off, so maybe its only something small..
Getting at the under side or removing the glass hob looks the hardest part at the moment.!

    thank you…
