Re: Beko condenser dryer heating problem

Think its definitely the PCB heating element
Reset button TOC . And at front of machine
NTC all testing within range . Took a volt reading with machine plugged in getting 240v OK. But readings from board to heating element connector 14v so something on the board gone . Thanks

Took NTC and and red button Stat out of the circuit and bridged the connections , run the dryer for a few minutes but element not heating , but element testing fine just over 30 ohms . Original NTC had gone open ciruit so thought it was an easy case of swapping for one of same value but must be something else. . Thanks Darren

    Re: Indesit smart card software

Thanks for that , had to do a few board swaps recently ,bought reconditioned ones with software pre installed for that model , both worked great . But one customer wanted it fixed that day the cost was not an issue to him . had to inform him it was not possible and had to wait for reconditioned board to arrive. Even if I bought a smart card reader and carried a few module boards I would still have to order and wait on delivery of the software card for that specific model . It would not speed up the repair any . Just not worth the hassle unless you have access to the same software as a hotpoint Engineer
