Expertcat, what ? there is a shortage of engineers, approach your local Serviceforce agent, Whirlpool agent or any independant and I’m sure you would stand a good chance of being recruited. Please have a word with any of your work mates in West/South Yorkshire to contact me for an interview.

ParticipantThanks to Rob for an excellant 3 days. Even though more of refresher my lads all learned something new. Excellant eye opener for new techs or techs that havn’t been there and done that. So I would recommend it.

ParticipantRe: rumours
Kevin, Yes you have gained a response, and as a DASA council member ( as you once was). all I can say is.
LOAD OF BOLLOCKS
Then again I never have been one to say a lot.
Any DASA member who wants to know the current state of play please visit http://www.dasanet.org.uk and go in to “member news “.A lot of people have been working hard for the past few months you could have set us back years with this unjustified speculation/ propaganda.

ParticipantAn interesting debate , which I will print off and take to the next council meeting. There are some good ideas and comments that I am sure can be expanded on.
I would like to applaud Oldtog and Del for their comments in support of DASA.The ‘Old regime’ hid things ,I think you will find this will not happen under the ‘New regime’.
I have been on the council for 3 years now,I was becoming despondent, but my personal opinion is that more progress has been made in the last 6 months than has happened in the previous 2 and half years. I for one am going to stick it out and see how things progress.
DASA is changing, but as with any association that meets 4 /5 times a year, decisions take time to be made.
Chris Hayter was ’employed’ by the council of the time to take on the day to day tasks of running the association.
This was done because the council members were too busy running their own businesses- This is still the case today. We are all busy doing other things-but we make time for DASA because we believe in it.P.S. and the hits keep coming ………………….
P.P.S. RS you should have joined UKW earlier some good comments especially from a likeminded Batley Lad.

ParticipantThere is certainly a lot of discontent within the Serviceforce camp.
