Thanks. I would have spent all night trying and probably not got anywhere if I hadn’t known that!
However, now I’ve got the bolt off (having rounded off the torx-hole and cut the sides flat to do it) I can’t get the spider off. It moves, slightly, but I can’t get it any further than a quarter of an inch or so, which I think is just the movemoent of the drum.
How do I get the bearing off the shaft whilst the spider is still on the drum? Or am I going about this the wrong way?
