Cheers repman, that was the exact fauult. Bridged it with a bit of wire and everything is hunky dory.

Now all I need is solder iron and some solder to complete the job. Off to B&Q me thinks.

Anyway, I bought a Miele earlier in the day to replace the broken machine. Just canclled the order, and that £800 is staying in my bank account for a little while yet.

I owe you a beer!
