Yippeee…just had a poke around some of the wiring, and look what appeared….

Guess it was this that was being troublesome..

Yeah certainly can. What strikes me as odd is that when you expect it to make the splashing noises from the upper arm rotating around, that doesn’t happen.

Ok, got to the pump and took the hose off and stuck my fingers in and twirled the impeller around. Nothing wrong with it…

What else could it be? Could it be the pump motor – if so what sort of readings am I looking for??

    Regards,

    Dave

Ok thanks for that. Yes the dishwasher makes all the right noises apart from not spraying water all over the place.

Where’s this impeller and what’s the best way of removing it all?

    Cheers,

    Dave

    Hi,

    Thanks for the response.

Thought 4&5 would be..it clears itself if I turn it back off again, just added it in to be sure.

I’ve popped the door open, and no I don’t get wet at all…and yes the re-set of the stat did go “click”

So does this mean there is a blockage somewhere then? Where’s the best place to start looking for the blockage?

    Cheers,

    Dave

    Ok, pushed the reset button..

    Ohms reading is 28.1

Just run the dishwasher again on a different programme and it has come up with the same error; however, there is heat in the machine. So it looks like it has heated up and is tripping off…

I then turned it off and back on and got the following two lights flashing..

    Any ideas?

Like has been said, either something off the shelf – I use Mr Muscle Oven Cleaner (lethal but does the job) or a professional oven cleaning company.
