After reading the hot debate on vinegar I would just like to add that my smelly dishwasher problem has only really come about since I started using Kim and Aggie’s vinegar method 😳 I thought there must be an underlying problem but the vinegar has just been masking the problem all along.

Just wanted to thank the professionals on this board for their useful and helpful advice, hopefully my machine now has a new lease of life 😀

Just been out and bought some of those active burst things, half price!!! need to stock up as I don’t fancy paying full price.

Thanks for your quick response 😀

The spray arms and sump are fine. I’ve just given the door a really good clean, it was pretty manky. Also I do use the supermarket tablets? Are they really no good then?
