I have one of the old models of fridge freezer american style. It’s had it’s power circuit PCB less than a year ago after it stopped making things cold. Always had a bit of a clicky problem. And now it’s rampant clicking.

I know there are newer revisions of the boards now- I’d have to replace both front and back for it to be compatible. But I’ve also just ordered some capacitors to try and fix the old PCB into working state.

Does anyone know if the new revision of PCB is anything past better quality components e.g. capacitors etc. Or is it much more reliable and worth just forking out £150 to change both boards?
