Hiya again, thanx for this I appreciate your help.
I must admit when the door is opened I don’t get as wet as I used to. I just put that down to the blades not moving. So its a possibility that the pump is failing, as I said all else works, it fills , heats and drains ok – and it runs through the programmes making what sounds like all the usual noises. Can pumps die slowly (if that makes sense) they don’t just pack up and sieze?

It does sound like the motor is running because it sounds as if the blades are rotating – but when I open the door the blades have not moved at all. I thought there might be a linkage between the motor and the bottom blade, but it just appears to click in place and sit on top !!??
