Dave, you were absolutely correct, the breather pipe was a solid stinking mass of goo. I’ve unblocked it, reassembled and it’s just finished an empty test cycle to check for any leaks. Fingers crossed it’s sorted now but I won’t know for sure for a few days – I made sure we cleared all the dirty laundry before I started, just in case I broke it!

Thanks, Dave. I had noticed a small hole towards the front of the pump housing, so I guess that’s probably it. How do you go about unblocking it? I’ve had the lid off a few times but the side panels have proved beyond me.
